Gameboar is a site identical in concept to Popurls, but for gaming. It has a lot of different news/events/screenshots from a collage of different gaming sites, rather than world/tech news and personal picture aggregation. The fact that it is almost identical to Popurls bothers me, though. I get that you can’t claim a “mashup” to be your own, simply because that’s the internet wave right now, but why make the hover text nearly the same styling? Why add a “notebook” exactly like Popurls’ “scrapbook”? That’s kind of lame. There’s always the possibility that Gameboar came about before Popurls, but I doubt it. On a positive note, it does appear to be a very resourceful site for those interested in gaming.
