Freeze!

Inspired by my favorite photographer, I attempted to take a freeze shot of my own. Here’s the best of the bunch:

This was taken on our kitchen floor. After numerous times trying on my own, I had to eventually ask for Amie’s assistance (she dropped the ice while I attempted to “freeze” the scene—it’s rather difficult to do both).

I think it’s safe to say I took around 75 pictures of ice splashing (or ice shattering, for that matter). This was probably 1 of 3 that came close to what I wanted.

The next time I try this, I’m going to use fruit of some kind with a solid white background. But it’s hard to say when the “next time” will be.

I really like the shoot Ryan. You always amaze me with your patience to get it right. Something that I just struggle to do. :)
