From Thursday evening to Sunday evening, I’ve been doing homework pretty much non-stop. Let’s look at it in terms of hours. Since Thursday after work I’ve spent 32-35 hours finishing out the semester. It’s been a frustrating couple of days, as I’ve had to pick up the slack for group members who “forget” (on purpose) their part of certain group assignments. I’d much rather work alone. Anyway, I’m really looking forward to the next 4 weeks of no evening class and no lengthy assignments. Plus I’m not working Coca-Cola through the holidays this year, which is a first in 6 years for me.
And on a side note, I’m getting tired of reading words that contain meme. It seems like they’re all over the place now.

I’m glad to have a break from classes, too! A year from now and we will both be done with school for good! :)

Man… another year. That sounds too long. I can’t imagine the feeling when I’m (we’re) done for good.

The feeling is good. Very very good. When I get home from work, we do whatever we want. No worrying about budgeting time for studying, projects, etc. When she has to work (she works afternoon shifts), I play Zelda on the Wii. The feeling of freedom is fantastic :-)

Oh I can imagine. Currently, I come home from work, Amie has an ongoing list of things to do for school (her thesis isn’t helping the matter) and I usually do too. So we sit in our “office” both at our computers working on stuff… occasionally taking small breaks, but it’s just tiring and irritating. We love movies, and it’s often hard to squeeze in spare time to just kick back and watch one. I’m completely ready to be finished with things I have to do after work. So how is the Wii?

The Wii rocks :-) Zelda is awesome, and the Wii Sports pack-in game is surprisingly fun (especiallly bowling and tennis). I also have Rayman which is hilarious, and Red Steel (sort of iffy on that one, but it actually is fun).
The Wii is pretty much everything I expected it to be – a blast to play, super easy to pick up and get into, and all wrapped up with Apple-like style in that small, quiet, glossy white package. I definitely recommend the Wii.

I was a huge fan of Zelda back in the day. I sort of stopped playing games altogether for some reason. Unfortunately, I quit before systems got really good. Like you, though, I’ve always been partial to Nintendo.
The last Zelda I remember playing was A Link to the Past for SNES. I played that game constantly. I used to draw that shield on the front of the box over and over. I think I even had it hanging on my wall at one point (which seems weird now). I can’t imagine how Zelda has evolved, and now especially considering the Wii style of gameplay.
